Greg Spies is a digital marketing consultant who helps organizations with extraordinary brands build cohesive digital ecosystems that elevate their stories and drive business growth. For the past seven years, Greg has led digital strategy for two of the nation’s top restaurant groups — The MINA Group and José Andrés Group — overseeing web, email, paid media, and analytics for dozens of acclaimed brands including Bourbon Steak, STRIPSTEAK, Jaleo, Zaytinya, and two-Michelin-starred minibar. His work helped modernize both organizations’ digital presence, unifying brand storytelling across platforms while driving measurable results in guest engagement and revenue.
Before moving in-house, Greg spent 15 years running The Interactive Dept., his Portland-based digital studio. There, he partnered with clients ranging from Aviation Gin and Domaine de Canton to Westin Hotels, KinderCare, and The Chicago Stock Exchange, blending high-touch design with hands-on development to help brands establish a strong digital foundation through web, email, and search.
With deep experience as both a strategist and front-end developer, Greg brings a rare mix of creative thinking, technical expertise, and operational insight. Greg lives in Saugerties, New York, in the Hudson Valley, where he continues to collaborate with brands and organizations across the country to design scalable digital solutions that unite strategy, storytelling, and performance.
